1️⃣ How to Buy a Presto Card (Physical Card)
Buy a physical PRESTO card for $4 in person at:
- Select Retail Stores (Some Shoppers Drug Mart locations also sell Presto Cards.)
- Fare Vending Machines (at all TTC subway stations)
- Ticket Vending Machines (at select GO Transit and UP Express stations)
- Customer Service Outlet
- Online (7-10 business days) - Temporarily unavailable due to possible Canada Post labour disruption.
2️⃣ How to Register Your Presto Card (Online Account)
- Go to 👉 www.prestocard.ca
- If it’s your first time, choose “New to Presto” to create a new account. If you already have an account, choose “I am a Presto User” and simply add your card number.
- Enter your email, set a password, and link your Presto Card number.
- Once complete, your card is connected to your account. You can reload funds anytime through the website or mobile app.
3️⃣ How to Redeem a Voucher (Prepaid Credit)
McMaster provides Presto vouchers that you can use for reloading your card.
- Log in to your Presto account at PC website.
- From the menu, select “Redeem Voucher”.
- Enter your voucher code.
- The system will automatically apply the voucher amount to your Presto Card balance. Online reloads may take up to 24 hours to appear on your card, so plan ahead.
